Strengthening Your Lungs
Box breathing is a breathing exercise that helps improve mental clarity and build emotional strength. It’s a method most commonly used by the Navy Seals to reduce anxiety and stress. This is a great exercise to do when you find yourself dealing with those negative emotions we covered on Wednesday.
When is the last time you’ve actually sat and meditate on God Himself? Not your finances, your job, your situation, yourSELF, etc…Something Pastor Kenny once suggested while doing box breathing is breathing in/out Abba Father. Here’s what it looks like…

1. Breathe deeply in through your nose slowly for four seconds while saying “Abba”
2. Hold your breath for four seconds
3. Begin to slowly exhale for four seconds while saying “Abba”
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 a few times.
After “Abba” try saying other names such as “Jireh” “Rapha” “M’Kaddesh” or “Adonai”.
Incorporate this into your daily time with God by dedicating time to truly focus on God and who He is to you.
May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the LORD. - Psalm 104:34
Be Blessed! 💚
