Everyone is familiar with the phrase: Teamwork makes the dream work. Teamwork is more than just accomplishing a common goal. It’s also about encouraging one another in our words and/or actions.
As you see in the video, the little girl is willing to get low to keep her sister up so she can make it across and rest when needed. When is the last time you got low and served the needs of your sister or brother in Christ? Even if it means getting some dirt on you? Some of us don’t like to get low and be used to help someone else. But a true servant voluntarily serves and is used as an instrument in accomplishing God’s purposes.
I encourage you to spend time today to seek God on what is His purpose for you pertaining to not just your personal life as an individual and serving God but as an employee or entrepreneur, a spouse, a parent, a neighbor… a partner of HopeNation. A ministry is successful when people team up together to serve Christ, even indirectly by serving others. Ministry involves people so servanthood should not be beneath us. If you feel it is, ask yourself “Why am I afraid to get dirty?”
